I apologize for this posting being so late. My Mom and Pops have been here to take Zoey back home with them. We are still planning to leave for the beach Hurricane Gustav or not. I am really thankful my aunt is staying here while we are away!

Nature's Gift - Element Pack 4/7

Good morning....My daughter came over yesterday. She had told me she would be here Monday and then Tuesday. She shows up unannounced yesterday with plans to spend the night. I told her until she and her brother can start appreciating what I have done for them and can treat me with respect I was officially on strike as a Mom. Until these things can happen I am a granddaughter, a daughter and a Nana. I told her she could stay until it was Zoey's bed time but she would then have to leave.

I haven't been reading emails but I did read your encouraging comments from yesterday. They are so very appreciated!

Enough about me. Please all of you with "terrible" twos in which I too am going through again appreciate every single day of those twos. When they reach the "terrible" teens your sanity could very well be tested.

Nature's Gifts Element Pack 3/7

Good morning! Guess what Hurricane Gustav is suppose to arrive at the beach the day we do. My mom said we will be going to the beach come hail or high water, who knows we may get both along with some heavy winds to go with it. My grandmother said well at least you will be on the ground floor. We will be staying in Ft. Walton Beach. Ft. Walton is on an island right next door to Destin. I don't think we will get the worst of it but we may not be coming home with a suntan. I really don't care I just need to get away. My aunt is going to come stay at my home and enjoy the beautiful weather on the lake while we visit Gustav.

Nature's Gift - Element Pack 2/7

Good Morning! It is also a good morning for me too. The drama: My son has inherited his love for drama from his father. My daughter's psycho ex-boyfriend is making threats against her and me....???? Logan wanted to get in the middle of it and I told him the only thing it would do was make matters worse, probably get him arrested or even killed. He was determined to call him and I told him if he did he would have to look for another place to live. Logan finally agreed to stay out of it.

This boy has court tomorrow in Gulf Shores and hopefully will be back in Kansas or in jail after that.

On top of that hurricane/tropical storm Fay has been causing havoc here. There has been continuous tornado watches, warnings, non-stop heavy rain, etc. We have had huge limbs fall on our home and carport. So far, it hasn't caused major damage. It is not raining here now but the skies look pretty gloomy. Valinda is now getting Fay's effects but I am hoping this storm's strength has lessened for them.

Free Mega Kit - Mimi's House Element Pack 3/5

Good morning everyone! Nothing exciting going on at this end, how about you? I did discover this Entrecard thing you have probably noticed on my blog. It's a little addictive. You join up and they give you 250 points (or they call them ec's). You can then purchase ads with your ec's on other peoples blogs. You earn more ec's by dropping off your card on other's entrecard or if people drop them off on yours. You also earn points if people buy an ad from you with their ec's. By doing this I have found some of the most interesting blogs that I otherwise would have never found!

I am also starting to work on a new kit that I will have ready probably by tomorrow. Once I get started on something I become obsessed (I have always been this way!!!)

So many of you have commented about things must be getting better. I learned when Randi was a young teenager to not comment or brag about how well things were going when everything was good. Everytime I ever did something always happened that night. I know that it is silly to be superstitious, however, just in case I just try to stay quiet about it. My New Free Kit: Mimi's House PP 1/3

Good Morning! I am giving you another free kit called "Mimi's House". I came up with this name because the flowers (some recolored to match the kit) are all pictures I took with my digital SLR. This kit is pretty big, 20 papers and over 60 elements. I am dividing the paper packs in 3 downloads and the elements in 5.

Please let me know what you think of this kit. I had a lot of fun making it even though the flower extractions were very time consuming! Next time I think I will place a black or white sheet behind the flowers.

Free Kit - My Precious Zoey Element Pack 3 of 5!

Good morning! My daughter did show up yesterday which gave me some time to start working on another kit. I took my good camera to my mom's when I picked Zoey up to take some close-ups of her flowers. I have already made 20 papers for the kit and quiet a few of the elements.

I don't know if I have told you or not, if I am telling you twice I'm just excited, I will be gone from August 31st to September 8th. We are having a family beach trip and the condo we will be staying in is sooo pretty. Zoey has never seen the ocean and beach before and I can't wait to experience it newly through her eyes! There is WI-FI there but I only have a desktop. I am too hard on laptops. I went through 2 in 2 years and I wear them out. My last one I bought will still boot up, however several of the keys are missing and it is really difficult to use.

Free Kit - My Precious Zoey Element Pack 2 of 5!

Good morning. Randi finally showed up and it took Zoey a little bit of time before she warmed up to her. Randi's father has done this to her all of her life. I had to pacify her when she would get her little heart broken. So she more than anyone else should know how it feels. I taught my children good morals by talking to them and by witnessing it through me. They both know they can trust what I tell them to this day, whether or not they choose to listen is a whole other thing. I called Randi and told her what I thought about what she had done to this precious child and reminded her that it was not fair to either of us because I never did that to her. She was here within 30 minutes! She told me and Zoey she was coming over again today.

Thank you everyone for leaving such good advise and so much encouragement. It is so very appreciated along with the thank you's. If anyone has a problem downloading any of my prior posts (and I will leave everything up and will not start getting rid of it until I start running out of 4Shared space) please let me know which one there is a problem with. Some of these links are really old and may have become corrupted. If I know exactly which one I can reupload the file and put a new link on my blog. Sometimes if you are downloading too many things from 4Shared at once it will give you problems if you try to download more, so always go back and retry. You may also run into problems with 4Shared when too many downloads are going on from everyone, it just gets overwhelmed. So be sure to try at a different time when you are not downloading anything.

I just remembered another question I received about a TOU. The items I create are not for commercial use they are for your personal use. I include a TOU on my blog (left hand side just scroll down a bit). It's not a standard TOU but my version of it. In the kits (when I remember) I try to include this. I hope this answers your question.

Free Kit - My Precious Zoey Element Pack 1 of 5!

Hi everyone, I am so sorry for the mistake I made on the download link to template 56. It was my fault. I already had it uploaded and copied some extra stuff in the link. It is fixed now. Thank you for letting me know and for the sweet comments! I haven't been around the computer much, Zoey has had my full attention. We watched Thumbelina yesterday afternoon. We just got through watching Shrek.

My daughter promised to come visit Zoey yesterday afternoon and did not show up and then promised to be here at 7:00 this morning and is still not here. I mistakenly told Zoey she was coming to visit, from now on I'll let Zoey find out for herself when she shows up. I never did that to my kids, I just don't understand. Her clothes are still here but she has found another loser so I haven't been seeing much of her. If she does show up or during Zoey's nap I'll come around and visit everybody!

I Just thought of something really funny about the south...

or it may just be an Alabama thing - Whenever you want a soft drink people say, "I really need a coke!" and the reply would be, "What kind?". So all soft drinks are referred to as coke, Mt. Dew, Sprite, Pepsi, etc. My New Jearsy realitives always got a big kick out of that whenever they came down to visit!

When my daughter was little her babysitter and her family were from West Virginia. One day I told them I needed to go home and bathe Randi. They replied only fancy people talk that way. I asked what do you say in place of bathe, in reply they said we're going to go "bath em".

I just love the different types of speach throughout the country and the different cultures through out the US and the World! It is just so interesting to me and appreciating these little quirks and others differences are so important for the world to be at peace.

Oh well, I thought this was going to be a short post but of course I rambled.

The Last Part of The Humid South!

Hi everyone, I slept late again today! I stay up to late and sleep late when Zoey is not here. I always miss her when she is not here and always by the third day I start missing her more. By the 5th day, I can't hardly stand it any longer and have to go get her!!

I had a comment about problems downloading part 2 of 4. I had the same problem with that one also so I tried some more with templates and a few other things and received the same response. 4Shared must be having problems. I'll check again later to see if it is still happening. If it is a problem with all 4Shared downloads I am sure they know. Please let me know if other people's 4Shared downloads are having this problem.

I will go ahead and post this last part. If 4Shared will not let you download please let me know. I have to run some errands for Logan so if you don't get an immediate response that is why.

Good morning everyone! With Zoey not here I stayed up until very late determined to at least get all of my pictures loaded to PBase and there were a lot. I slept late big time. I am just now reading comments, you all are so sweet and encouraging! I can't wait to come back and view every ones blog that left me comments....

I only have enough time to post this freebie this morning. I have to go to the Social Security office in Talladega. Yes, for anyone who watched Talladega Nights it is the same place. I am just 8 miles from it's county line, but I promise I have never met any one like Ricky Bobby! LOL! This is going to take quiet a while, in the south we do have a much slower pace than up north. I love it because I am a slow paced kind of girl.

Element Pack 2 for The Humid South

I am giving away the 2nd part of the element pack (there are 4). I have to go to the doctor today and take little sweetie to my Mom's to stay for a few days. Zoey is so excited, when she woke up from her nap yesterday she said, "Go to Mimi's now". I told her she had to go to sleep one more time before she was going to Mimi's. My mom and pops live next door to my grandmother and grandaddy and my aunt stays near every day she is there. So she has 5 people that want as much time as they can get with her and she is just in heaven. I feel so fortunate to have 5 generations of 1st born females. My family says she does no wrong and are head over heels in love with sweet little Zoey.
